Everyday SKETCH Friday

9.27.2013

This simple sketch came off a BP sign along the interstate while we were driving back from vacation to Ocean City, MD this summer.  When you have an eye out for a sketch to use in your paper crafting they just pop up everywhere!

For this project I used  CTMH Spellbound paper pack which is on clearance for $2.20 while supplies last!  Use link to access website.  I wanted to make a birthday card for someone who celebrates their special day on Halloween.
I used my favorite Cricut Cartridge Artiste Bundle to make this paper accent.  Stay tuned later this week for a post showing step by step how to make this accent which has quickly become a favorite of mine!

Used one of my favorite 3D laquers to provide some dimension to the "BOO!" die cut......need to allow time for this to dry....depending on how much you use it can take 30 minutes or an hour or more.  My crazy scrappin' buddy Corie Rudisill is known for piling on the 3D adhesive!  Hers can take even longer to fully dry!
As it dries you will see the 3D laquer dry completely clear and all you will see is the dimension that it gives your card.
Finished product!  If you are local you will be able to find this card at Sweet Peas Unique Gifts late next week!  Thank you for taking your precious time to visit Everyday SKETCH Friday!  Please share and show some love if you like this post!
